Little One, you look so hard to see what caused the ripple. Would knowing the source add or take away from the beauty and movement that caught your eyes? Is the “why” the alchemy that transforms beauty into the beautiful? Is knowing the why of anything always necessary? Can not the experience flow with ease and stir the waters in ways otherwise not possible? Can you release the why and allow the beauty that exists now to be embodied?
Little One you look so hard to see what caused the ripple. You think something powerful is necessary to cause such stirring. Doubt not Little One how even the most gentle of breezes can stir deep waters. Doubt not your own ability to move the waters of change, compassion, hope, and love. Move through the world like the breeze Little One. And like the breeze don’t look back. Know the stirring is creating beauty that cannot help but stir the waters. Your task is to move. My Task, like the water, is to respond.
Little One you look so hard to see what caused the ripple. Do you see only the obvious and miss the small ripples streaming over the lake? Look not for that which stands out and is visible. Doubt not that the same beauty within you is vast and transcends the obvious. Your thousand ripples of beauty, the textures of your being will remain long after the obvious fades.
Little One you look so hard to see what caused the ripple. We can ponder together so many reflections. Or, we can just sit together and smile at nature’s reflection of your own simple beauty and joy. Take my hand…….
