I see words as threads we weave into patterns upon the loom of our mind. I lost count how many times the word “recover” was used today. When something keeps lingering in front of you, I’ve learned to take notice. I searched for the roots and meaning of recover. I confess, its original use took me by surprise – “to regain consciousness, come back, and return.”
My heart sighed and I confess the words were not what I had imagined I would find. To recover is not to seek that which is not or that offered by something outside. To recover is to return, regain, and realize that which already is, that which is yours….naturally and innately.
The whisper not complete. A bookmark to return and ponder again. But as the day is folding into the night, I held deeply the whisper offered for now. Opening my eyes with a sigh of release, the clouds and sky danced in delight. To regain and return to that which is yours.
