A jam packed Friday, surely no time to breathe. A day of warmth and sunshine. Could I do it? We have “snow” days where people yield to the weather. Why not “sun” days? It would mean I would not get a lunch. But…but….but…. Suddenly I found myself driving over the lake bridge with a winter house bound four legged shrieking and yipping. I became a winter house bound two legged mimicking a wolf’s howl. We yipped and “aaaaaaaaaawooooooooooooooo” our way over the bridge. We bounded out of the car like an uncorked bottle of champagne. And then we walked with the wind, the sun, the sky, the mountains, earth, and lake.
No time for lunch. But, I did check the nutritional label of the lunch we savored. Main ingredients: wind, sun, warmth, blue sky, earth, lake, and the invitation to breathe. Good for the heart, body, and soul. Yep. I’d say a most most nutritious lunch indeed. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
