I had a true Winnie the Pooh moment today. Last week stood on one side of the lake and knew I had to trek around the whole lake. This morning I sat out on my quest. Could clearly see the lake and even cars on the other side. I parked in the parking area beside the lake. I started. Lake disappeared. Road only. I laughed at the signs. Greeted bunnies. Never saw the lake. Got lost. As my heart burst with joy to finally see my car, I found myself thinking, it was ok. It was good to know. And with that I found myself channeling Winnie the Pooh…..
It’s good to be reminded we need to share. Even better to not limit with whom we will share. It’s good to know that horses like to park it too. I’m thinking they’re better at parallel parking than I. It’s good to know a circle always comes back to itself. Even better when you know the start and can then find the end. It’s good to know the road is clear and inviting. Even better when you know which way to go at the fork. It’s good to remember where you parked. Even better when you’ve doubled your walk because you got lost. It’s good to know there is no judgement in “good to know.” Even better when you can laugh at the “know.”
