Three years ago, last week, I arrived and made my new home in Colorado. On this expedition, my first week here, the earth called me to simply rest and savor the journey that was and was to be. I gazed at the sky snuggled in the grasses. Then, as now, the whisper remains…. “Little one is your heart daring and soft enough to try and make even the sun smile and laugh?” I can be a timid little hobbit at times, much like Piglet in Winnie the Pooh. But when one is snuggled in the earth with the clouds and sky your only vision, how can you not answer “Yes. ….But help me when I am afraid.” And the whisper back, as the wind blew through my bed of tall wispy grasses…”Ahhh my little one, I would not have asked if I would not always be there.” Then we laughed. This morning to laugh and dare again.
